About the Book:

Though Jess Colton gave his life to the Lord, he held onto an old habit. Fueled by alcohol, he spent a night with a girl from his past, defying his Christian principles. When he quit drinking to honor God, he discovered another addiction. Now he can’t manage his own life as his weight soars and diabetes threatens to claim him. Jess is baffled when the beautiful Holly Harrison declares her love.
Holly Harrison lived to please herself. But everything caught up with her in one moment of time when a destructive motorcycle accident altered her life forever. Nowhere else to turn, she looked to God for answers. Now, she’s convinced no Christian man would be attracted to her. She doesn’t plan on falling in love with the handsome Jess Colton seeing past his bulk to the godly, tender man within. When Jess drives a wedge between them, she loses hope of a future together.
Can Holly overcome her handicap? Can Jess find control over his eating and his life? Only God has the answer.

My Review

This is an amazing book. I could feel the emotions of the characters. Jess has a hard time dealing with his emotions and turns to food but it can endanger his health. Holly has a past she is ashamed of. Jess and Holly becomes friends, she deals with her sister and he deals with his dad. Love the name of the book. Which did not understand why it was called that until through most of the book. A very inspiring book, jess deals with a weight issue which is a subject very hard to approach. Love all the characters and how God worked in their lives. I received an complementary copy of the book from the author, my review is my own opinion.

My Review:

I really loved Jonathan and Kylie story. The book could also be called a reason to love again. Jonathan wife had passed away from cancer, I love how the book covers his marriage with Marie and the childhood of Kylie. With the chapters about the past showing their ages so was easy to know the past from the present. Love how Jonathan takes care of his niece Rose. So many interesting characters in the book. Also Kylie past is a very inspiring past story. I definitely recommend buying this book, very much worth reading.

My Review:

Hope of love, hope of life, survival. Henry had just come back from the war, he finds Vivian to marry her after promising her late fiancé he would take of her. She agrees but they do have a hard start to their marriage. He has things in his past to get over which is revealed a little at a time through out the book. You will have to read to see what happens. I enjoyed reading about Henry and Vivian and there was a lot of interesting secondary characters. I received an complementary copy of the book from Celebrate Lit.

She thought he was her knight in shining armor, but will a marriage of convenience prove her wrong?

A marriage of convenience might give her hope or dash her hopes forever.

She’s lost everything. Can a marriage of convenience give her hope.

An Easter historical romance offers hope.
